Dress Code

All students and parents sign the Home-School Agreement at the start of the year, agreeing to follow the Dress Code at Brookfield Community School which is checked by Form Tutors every morning.

Smart jacket

Smart jumper or cardigan

Smart shirt, blouse or dress (not skin tight or too short: not more than five fingers above knee)

Smart trousers or skirt (not skin tight or too short: not more than five fingers above knee)

Ties of own choice (compulsory for males)

Smart shoes or boots

Stud earrings only

Natural coloured hair

Denim, leather or leather look, logos

Hoodies, sweaters, offensive logos or images

Tassels, logos, low cut, exposed midriff, polo shirts, strappy tops, off the shoulder tops

Shorts, leggings, denim, jeggings, lycra, tracksuits, sweater material, leather or leather look

No offensive logos or images

Trainers, pumps, stilettos, flip flops, beach sandals, Ugg boots

Facial piercings, hooped/long earrings

Unnatural colours, skin heads

If students do not adhere to the dress code, their parents will receive a text, and it will be entered on SIMS. If issues arise again, the student will be sent home to change. If the issue continues, their Head of Year will be informed.
